Posted by Dean Jones on January 12, 2004 at 13:43:26: Im looking for a Doctor or some information on polycythemia vera, im am 24 years of age and im seeing a doctor at the moment. But all im am having done is blood being removed every 8 to 12 weeks,i have had 10% liver damage but my doctors do not wish to investigate this anymore and have advised my that i will have to have my blood out for the rest of my life. I have also been told that i would live a normal life but if i have anymore problems in later life then that will change. As i say any information would be greatfull.
