It's probably best if they have your husband in a state facility for evaluation, tho. That helps them establish that he wasn't responsible for his actions at the time (weilding a firearm is an action, even if he wasn't using it). Maybe they'll find a treatment program. I mean, no offense, sometimes I wish that my mother would be put into a state facility. At least I'd know she's safe (as well as any innocent bystanders). good luck.
