Hi folks,
I am the Vice President of the board of directors for Compassion Ministries. We too are looking for any guidence. I have some experience in folks who are addicts / alcoholics and live with mental illness. I do myself. Bipolar and Addiction to narcotics and Alcohol. We are currently in the process of building a one stop group home / program for duel diagnoses. Teaching basic life skills, med management, illness and drug and alcohol treatment. NA, AA and our own mental health support group for the consumer as well as the family. We are looking at several properties and are working with Prudential who have donated all their fees and services including closing cost. It's an exciting venture. We have been doing mental health seminars educating the faith community for 15 years. But we still need support throug prayers and any helps you have.
