I've some minimal research so far and have found only Narconon also as a nontraditional-no 12step program. Narconon should not be confused with NarcAnon which is Narcotics Anonymous. Be sure to watch for the "a" in Narcanon and the "o" in Narconon. So far my results have been that althought Narconon is supposively a good facility it also has the stigma of being accused of fraud and scientology brainwashing. NarcAnon is basically a membership based group of recovering and recovered addicts working together to stay off drugs and cope. hope this helps. anonymous

> There are many programs out there besides Nar-a-non.Double trouble groups are all over.You may want to contact the Mental Health Empowerment Project for more information. They have good resources.If you are in need of more support groups let me know.There are many out there!
