I was diagnosed manic depressive in 1987 and was placed on the typical Lithium etc. Since then I have been on and off medication and found I always drank heavily off medication. Everytime I started acting really weird (music chasing me, etc.) I would go back to the meds in some variation or another. Finally in 2001 I was diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder and placed on 6 different meds. I am doing really well now and you know what....liquor doesnt'even taste the same anymore so now I do not drink. Odd, huh? |
