Ben Tre excursionFollowing a leisurely hour and a half drive to My Tho, climb aboard a boat for a smooth ride on the Mekong River to Ben Tre. Upon arrival, visit a former retreat of the Coconut Religious Sect and do a little bird watching in a bird sanctuary. Lunch provided. Vinh Long excursionBe prepared for a full day of sightseeing Mekong Delta style, including a ferry crossing of the Mekong River, during the drive from Ho Chi Minh City south to Vinh Long. From there, take a boat trip on one of the hundreds of smaller waterways prevalent throughout the Delta, visit a floating market, and stop by a farmer's house for lunch.
