Hanoi, Danang, Hue, Ho Chi Minh City
Day One: From the Vietnamtourism booth at Noi Bai airport, you will be driven to
your hotel for check-in, dinner, and a night of relaxation.
Day Two: A full day of sightseeing with visits to Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, the
One Pillar Pagoda, Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Returned Sword), and the Co Loa Citadel
ruins. Wind up the day with dinner and a Vietnamese Variety Show.
Day Three: After breakfast, transfer to Noi Bai airport for the flight to
Danang. Following a visit to a Cham Sculpture Museum, depart Danang and travel up the
coast to Hue. En route, you'll be treated to the spectacular view offered as you cross
through the Hai Van pass. In Hue, tour the tombs of Tu Duc and Khai Dinh prior to dinner
and an overnight stay.
Day Four: After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely boat trip down the Perfume River
and then visit the Thien Mu Pagoda. Later, pass through the arch leading into the Imperial
City within the walls of the Hue Citadel. Check out the scratch marks along both sides of
the archway wall as you enter. These were made by a US tank during the battle of Hue.
Later in the day, drive back over the Hai Van pass to Danang. The view is well worth a
second look.
Day Five: Following breakfast, transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Ho
Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, and after check-in, enjoy a quick tour of the city before
dinner. Take the evening off to check out a few night spots or just relax with a cyclo
ride around town.
Day Six: In the morning, visit Reunification Palace and then go bargain hunting
in a local Handicraft production shop. After lunch you're free to wander around town
shopping or go sightseeing along the river.
Day Seven: Sleep in if you want and then get in some last minute shopping before
lunch. Transfer to Tan Son Nhut airport for departure.

to the hotel for dinner and a night of relaxation.
Day Two: A full day of shopping and sightseeing with visits to Ho Chi Minh's
Mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda, and the Temple of Literature. After lunch, spend your
time shopping or just strolling the wide boulevards of Hanoi. In the evening, you'll be
treated to a Vietnamese variety show.
Day Three: After breakfast, transfer to Noi Bai airport for the flight to

Trang. During the drive, you'll witness the splendor of central Vietnam's coastal regions
and enjoy a picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight in Nha Trang.
Day Six: While in Nha Trang, visit the Linh Son Pagoda and then tour the
vestiges of Cham Civilization before returning to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon,
head south toward Phan Rang where you'll turn inland for Dalat. Enjoy dinner and an
overnight at the Palace Hotel.
Day Seven: Following breakfast, go on a sightseeing tour of beautiful Dalat
city. Later, depart for Ho Chi Minh City with lunch at the Bao Loc Restaurant En route.
Dinner and overnight in HCMC.
Day Eight: Breakfast and then head off into the Mekong Delta on your way to My
Tho. Once there, visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda and take a boat trip on one of the many
branches of the Mekong. Enjoy a leisurely lunch before the return trip to Ho Chi Minh
City.
Day Nine: Following breakfast and a tour of the Reunification Palace, get in
some last minute shopping before transferring to Tan Son Nhut airport for departure.

Day Two: After breakfast, visit the fabulous Cu Chi Tunnels. Spend the cooler
morning hours experiencing a brief glimpse of Guerrilla life in the "trenches".
Crawl through fifty yards of the 120 mile tunnel system which served as both a home and
staging area for Vietnamese guerrillas during the war. Live fire one of the weapons of
choice (M16 or AK47) at the optional firing range. Later, return to Ho Chi Minh City and
tour the Reunification Palace and then shop for bargains during a visit to a Lacquer ware
Factory.
